The jury in the trial of a man accused of strangling women to the point of unconsciousness before robbing them has been dismissed because the prosecuting counsel contracted swine flu.
Temman Dias, 25, of Parkham Street, Battersea, pleaded not guilty to eight counts of choking, suffocating or strangling with intent and eight counts of robbery.
A new trial is expected to start today.
