It may be summer, but theatrical hurricanes and snow storms came to Tolworth last week, as children acted out memories of the area.
The week-long Bounce Theatre workshops at Knollmead Primary School involved seven to 15-year-olds putting on plays, puppet shows and holding cake stalls in a fictional street party.
Dramatisations included a Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang car which once came to Surbiton festival, the building of a compost house and food fight in someone’s garden.
The summer holiday event for 16 children was funded by a grant from Kingston Council and the group showed off their performances on Friday, July 31, holding a cake stall to raise money for charity.
