New measures have been launched by Sutton Council in a bid to improve their customer services.
Giving residents who call Sutton Council’s call centre instant replies, having longer call centre opening hours and a new online booking system for sport activities in the borough, are some of the changes made.
From Monday, the Revenues and Benefits Contact Centre will also be extending its opening times to 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday.
Residents can now book a football pitch and see what pitches are available in Sutton and when by visiting sutton.gov.uk.
A recent survey by the Customer Services for London Group rated Sutton’s contact centre top in customer satisfaction for council tax and housing benefit services and the Civic One Stop Shop, second out of 16 participating London boroughs.
