Breaking news: Dawn raid by armed robber at Croydon Tesco
An armed robber raided Tesco in Lower Addiscombe Road, Croydon, this morning.
The man armed with a gun struck at 6.08am before driving away in a car.
Police officers, including an armed response unit, found what they believed to be the robber's vehicle on Inglis Road in Addiscombe shortly afterwards.
Police units converged on the area in an attempt to locate the raider.
