A woman was raped in a secluded alley way in Thornton Heath last week.
The 44-year-old victim was standing outside a shop in London Road at the junction with Colliers Water Lane at about 1.00am on July 28.
She was grabbed by a man who dragged her into a secluded alleyway where he raped her before fleeing down Colliers Water Lane.
He is described as a 30-year-old Asian man, 5ft 6in in height, with dark eyes and dark hair, possibly spikey.
He was described as wearing a dark T-shirt, light denim jeans and dark trainers.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
Officers were out in force last night at the scene a week after the incident looking for potential witnesses.
They are keen to speak to anybody who may have witnessed this incident.
There have been no arrests so far.
