Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has revealed chairman Simon Jordan is planning to be more involved with the first team this season.
Jordan has been trying to sell the club over the summer but, after ploughing another £5m in to keep it afloat in the close season, it now seems the 41-year-old is set to stick around.
Warnock said: "He is definitely going to do a bit more this year.
"He's made it clear to me that he's going to come to some away games with us and he's going to come to the training ground a bit more.
"Whereas other managers probably didn't want him to do that, I am looking forward to seeing him a bit more.
"He has had a lot on his plate the last 12 months so it will be good to get him around the place again and get that enthusiasm going."
