Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock is not expecting to sign anyone on loan.
The Eagles were linked with a move for Wolves striker Sam Vokes this week but look to have been priced out of a deal with Middlesborough and Newcastle set to meet a hefty loan fee imposed by the Welshman's parent club.
And, with money tight at Selhurst Park, Warnock does not believe there will be any extra funds available soon to aid bringing in another striker.
"I don't think we will be able to sign anyone to be honest," he said.
"We will see if anything comes available that we can get but it doesn't look like it will at the moment."
