The Eden Project is a global garden for the 21st Century, housed in the world’s largest greenhouses and home to thousands of plants from around the globe. Eden is a gateway to a sustainable future, a dramatic setting in which to tell the fascinating story of mankind’s dependence on plants and a place to discover who we are and what keeps us alive, by exploring and celebrating our connections with, and dependence on, the natural world and each other.

Eden … a Living Theatre of Plants and People:
• A project: a work in progress trying out new ideas
• An experiment in communication and public education
• A meeting place for conversations that might just go somewhere: a catalyst for change
• A global garden full of exhibits exploring our place in nature
• A stage on which to exhibit our work and that of others, bringing together science, art, technology and commerce
• Investing in programmes and projects to make a difference
• Working with local communities
• Exploring sustainability demonstrating ways of running a sustainable business
• Building a social enterprise – to show how the public and private sector can work together
• Exploring how we can all work together for a better future.

The Eden Project has a fantastic programme of year-round events and workshops, from Global Garden Harvest (7th Sept – 23 Oct) with its amazing displays of seasonal food to Time of Gifts (2nd Nov – 21 Feb), a sparkling winter wonderland of music, storytelling, fire and ice.
