A wannabe chef paid a visit to the kitchens of the Blue Anchor pub in Tadworth to pick up a few tips from the head chef.
Stuart Cade-Westcombe, 14, is staying at Tadworth Court undergoing a rehabilitation programme after receiving a brain injury.
He spent the morning with the pub’s head chef Damien Pomykala who took Stuart through the process of making his own pizza with fresh ingredients and also the preparation of some mouth-watering desserts, including a sticky-toffee pudding.
The teenager, who was provided with his own personalised whites, was thrilled to receive a signed copy of a cookery book by his favourite TV celebrity chef, Gino D’Acampo from the pub’s manager Aaron Blackmore and heaf chef Damien Pomykala.
