A special evening is being held to encourage local groups and organisations to take part in town twinning activities with Chantilly in France.
Chantilly was chosen to be Epsom’s partner because it is a racing town and is similar in other ways.
The Epsom and Ewell Town Twinning Association have invited clubs and societies who have visited or formed links with Chantilly to bring along a display of photos and memorabilia to help persuade newcomers to twinning to take part.
The evening, which will include a wine tasting event, takes place in the atrium of Epsom Town Hall at 7.30pm on Thursday, October 8.
Epsom Male Voice Choir, Epsom Model Railway Club, Burma Star Association, Choral Society, Epsom Protection Society, Rotary Club, St Martin’s Church, Ewell Castle School and Epsom Downs Racecourse have all been invited.
