Surrey NHS is giving smokers in the county desperate to quit a helping hand with a new service starting this month.
Stop smoking drop-in sessions at the Horley Methodist Church in Victoria Road, start from Monday, September 21.
Smokers will be able to pop in for advice on how to give up from 7.30pm to 9pm.
The weekly sessions are free, but people should book in advance on 0845 602 608.
Helen Thurlow, Surrey NHS stop smoking adviser, said: “We know from formal research and from simply talking to smokers that the vast majority of them would like to quit and we’re really excited about being able to offer another opportunity to help them do just that.
“And if anyone can’t wait until the Monday sessions, there’s a couple of other very easy ways to get help.”
Call 0845 6023608 or email stop.smoking@surreypct.nhs.uk for advice.
