These teenagers are beaming after acing their GCSEs thanks to a local tuition project.
The Sunni Muslim Association (SMA) in Tooting Bec Road has been tutoring teenagers who struggle to get A-C grades in English and maths.
On Saturday, tutors invited the former year 11 pupils back for a big congratulations.
This year at least 50 per cent got grades C or above, and some who were predicted Ds even achieved As.
The SMILEYp project, funded by Bellinger Donnay Charitable Trust, provides specialist tutors to those most in need.
The free weekend classes, which are open to teenagers of every race, religion and gender, last for 17 weeks starting in January.
