Wimbledon’s much-loved comedy star June Whitfield is due to open a new state-of-the-art private care home on Thursday.
Kew House in Spencer Hill Road boasts a therapy and treatment room, cinema, hair and beauty salon with cafe, family events room, music room, lounges and dining rooms.
The actress, famous for her appearances in comedy Absolutely Fabulous and the Carry On films, will also be signing copies of her new autobiography, June Whitfield at a Glance.
