A crazed builder who drilled into his landlord's skull with a power drill after he was told to move out has been jailed for seven years.
Raymond Douglas, 44, was sentenced at the Old Bailey yesterday for his frenzied attack on Lee Woodford in his home in Herne Hill.
Douglas attacked Mr Woodford in his home in Sunray Avenue by first drilling into his head and then chest on March 13 this year.
He carried out the attack with the Bosch tool while Mr Woodford was trying to sleep, hours after the landlord asked him to move out because he threatened his daughter.
He then turned on Mr Woodford's son Jack, 32, and his friend Matthew Ellis, who had rushed to save him.
He knocked Mr Ellis out cold with the tool before drilling into Jack's stomach and leg.
Douglas was sentenced to seven years in prison for causing Lee Woodford grevious bodily harm, six years in jail for wounding Jack Woodford with intent, and two years in prison for the actual bodily harm of Matthew Ellis.
He will serve the three sentences concurrently.
