Darren Ambrose says there is more to come from him after scoring the winner against Derby County on Saturday.
The midfielder, signed on a free transfer from Charlton Athletic in the summer, had already hit the back of the net five times this season and is Palace’s leading scorer.
However, he feels he can still offer more to the side.
“I think there is more to come from me performance wise,” he said.
“If I can get on the ball a bit more there is more to come but I am enjoying myself again.
“I am enjoying playing, especially on Saturday because I thought it was a good team shape and I enjoyed myself in it.
“I love playing and I love scoring goals and I have shown that at Palace so hopefully I can do that even more.
“I had a bad year last year with results and performance wise but I think I am back now and I am scoring goals.”
The 25 year-old also revealed that the players did feel the pressure to atone for the shambolic defeat to Scunthorpe last week.
“Absolutely there was pressure but you have those games as a footballer,” he said.
“It was a horrendous result but sometimes it’s what you need and there is now a lot better feeling in the dressing room than last week.”
