Darren Ambrose believes Crystal Palace can dent West Brom’s incredible start to the season with victory at The Hawthorns this Saturday.
The Baggies top the Championship with six wins from their opening eight games, including a 5-0 drubbing of promotion rivals Middleborough on Saturday, while Palace’s win over Derby was their first in five matches.
Ambrose, whose fifth goal of the season earned the points against Derby, is confident he and his fellow players can spring a surprise though.
“It’s a massive challenge but I think that could be a good time to play them,” he said.
“They are going to be on a high and they are not going to be expecting us.
“We are going to be underdogs but I know what our lads are like and I think we can put in another good performance.
“Anyone can beat anyone in this league and I think we can beat anyone on our day.”
