The 3rd Molesey Scout and Guide Band passed a formal inspection last week to prove their fitness to perform in public.
The band, who have played at the Molesey Carnival and other local events, was approved at the inspection by Richard Hackett, the Surrey band adviser.
Parents came to watch the inspection and enjoy a performance, while the mayor of Elmbridge, Councillor James Vickers, also attended to present the band’s annual awards.
The band are now preparing for their final performance of the year at the Molesey Remembrance Day Parade in November.
