Anti-knife campaigners have created a booklet to highlight the effects of gang culture.
Eliza Rebeiro and the Lives not Knives team created the book of poetry, lyrics, art and opinions, by a selection of young people, showing their perspective on knife crime.
The book is being launched in Croydon town hall on October 1 at 4pm and has been funded by telephone company O2’s It’s Your Community scheme.
Eliza, 16, said: “The young people know there has to be change and they are willing to put in the effort to make a change.
“Support these young people by attending the event and encourage them that they are making a difference and that you are willing to share your time by listening and working together.”
