Police are appealing for witnesses following a botched abduction in Roehampton on Tuesday (September 22).
At about 8.50pm, a teenage girl was walking down Priory Lane when a black vehicle - possibly a Volkswagen Polo - pulled up alongside her.
The driver got out of the car and then tried to pull the victim inside the vehicle.
However, they were disturbed by a passer-by and the victim was able to escape her would-be abductors, who drove off in the direction of Upper Richmond Road.
Police have described the driver as a black man, aged between 20 and 30 years, wearing a black woolly hat with a brim, a faded blue top, blue jacket and dirty blue jeans.
He also wore a gold ring on his right hand and spoke with an African accent, say police.
A second man was also seen in the Polo and police describe him as white, with a small beard, wearing a black hoodie and speaking with an English accent.
