Mounted police attended Earlsfield Primary School on Friday, but luckily no-one was under arrest.
The officers from Wandsworth Police visited as part of the school’s London week, which encourages pupils to be proud of their home town.
Earlier in the week, children from the Tranmere Road school met pets from Battersea Dogs Home and explored “gory London”.
Lelia McDonnell, assistant headteacher, said: “Children have so much exposure to things that go on in other places that we forget about looking at things that are close to us.”
