A teenager was robbed and punched by a group of yobs who demanded his money.
The 13-year-old boy was in the recreation ground near Pound Lane, Epsom, when four thugs walking two dogs demanded his cash.
He was frisked by one of them, who stole just £1.50 before punching the teenager in the side of his face.
Police are appealing for information on the incident, which happened on Sunday, August 30, at 2.30pm.
The first yob was described as black, aged 15 to 17, 5ft 9in, medium build, with braided short black hair. He wore dark trousers and a T-shirt.
The second was described as black, aged 17, 5ft 10in, of slim build and with shaved hair. He was wearing dark grey tracksuit bottoms and a black top and had a black and white Staffordshire bull terrier with him.
The third is described as black, aged 14 or 15, 5ft 6in, slim and with short black hair. He was wearing a grey tracksuit.
The fourth is a child described as black, aged 10 or 11, 5ft 4in tall and of slim build. He was wearing a tracksuit and a black baseball cap with gold edging. He also had a Staffordshire bull terrier.
Investigating Officer Detective Constable Colin Snell said: “The young victim has been left shaken after such an experience but is recovering well. Surrey Police will not tolerate violence and I appealing to the public to come forward if they have any information which could help my investigation.
“We have good descriptions of the suspects we are looking for and I believe someone will recognise them.
“Were you in the recreation ground near Pound Lane, Epsom, on the Sunday of the August bank holiday weekend? Can you recall seeing a group of young teenagers with dogs in the area? This was frightening for the victim and those responsible need to be caught.”
