Princess Alice Hospice, Esher, is holding an information evening next month, in the hope it will inspire people to raise money for the charity.
The hospice Charity Challenge will take place next March and the evening on Thursday, October 15, will give people the chance to meet individuals who have been on fundraising events around Asia.
People will be talking about Himalayan treks, bamboo rafting on the river Kwai, hiking in tropical jungles and the popular Great Wall Discovery trip to China, where you trek the Great Wall and explore the Forbidden City.
There will also be information on other expeditions at different times of the year in Africa, Vietnam, Cuba and other far-flung locations.
To further the Asian theme of the night, there will be Oriental food, Indian head massages and yoga demonstrations.
The evening starts at 6pm in the hospice’s education centre in West End Lane.
