Soul diva and actress Miquel Brown is set to dazzle the congregation at Cornerstone the Church in Esher, on Sunday, October 4.
She put herself on the music map in the early 80s with the multi-million selling song So Many Men, So Little Time, and has released four albums during her career.
She has also appeared in films such as Rollerball, Superman and most recently alongside Simon Pegg in How to Lose Friends and Alienate People.
The multi-million selling disco and soul singer will be performing songs alongside the Sandown Park-based church’s own musicians during the morning and evening services at 10.30am and 6pm respectively.
Speaking about Miquel’s last performance at the church, senior pastor Chris Demetriou said: “We were blown away by Miquel’s vibrant performance last time around, and moved by the story of her life and her journey to becoming a Christian.
“Next Sunday, it would be wonderful to welcome new faces to enjoy Miquel’s electrifying performances with us.”
Cornerstone the Church meets every Sunday in Sandown Park’s Gold Cup Suite, usually at 10.30am and 6pm. There is free tea and coffee after the service and free parking at Sandown Park.
