Sutton Schools Borough U11s showed great character to recover from two goals down and almost snatch a winner in a competitive friendly against Lewisham on Saturday.

Sutton started brightly and almost took the lead when Cameron Steel’s corner was glanced wide by Stefan Ilic.

South West Trains player of the match with a wonderful display of energy and ability was Sutton striker Sam O’Leary-Blade. Sutton play Woking this Saturday in their first Surrey League match.
