Roehampton Library will be hosting an art exhibition with a twist this month to celebrate World Mental Health Day.
Visitors can see art created by artists with a history of mental health problems.
Mental Health Day itself is not until October 10 and the exhibition will run until then.
Many of the artists are currently in-patients at local hospitals such as Huntercombe in Roehampton.
Jon Norris, a social worker at Huntercombe Hospital, said: “There is concern, about stigma and discrimination that effect people with mental health problems, at many levels including central government level.
“This event is designed to give the public a more positive perception of people with mental health issues and is indirectly related to the Time to Change Campaign.”
