Staff and punters at the Ditton pub in Long Ditton raised money for charity last week, by sitting in a bath of coffee.
The pub, which was taking part in charity Macmillan Cancer Support’s Biggest Coffee Morning in the World, also sold homemade cakes and ran a raffle.
It is the second year that the staff at the pub in Ditton Hill Road have taken part in the event and this year they managed to raise £500.
Sharon Burnett, manager of the pub, said: “The weather was bright, so we had a raffle running all day in the garden while customers enjoyed lunch, cakes and of course plenty of coffee.
“Even strangers walking on the other side of the road crossed over to the Ditton and kindly gave money for the event.”
