The Esher Hall Antiques and Fine Art Fair returns to Esher Hall at Sandown Park racecourse from Friday, October 9 to Sunday, October 11.
Some 35 dealers from across the country are gathering to show items such as furniture, oil and watercolour paintings, jewellery, silver, ceramics and oriental carpets.
Although a fair rather than an auction, there will be a chance to place sealed bids for two rare Tunbridge Ware stamp boxes.
These stamp boxes, each with a reserve of £175, commemorate the coronation of King George VI in 1937 and the Festival of Britain in 1951.
There will be an opportunity to view the stamp boxes, which will be on Amherst Antiques stand, as part of the Edenbridge Galleries from Kent.
Members of the British Antique Furniture Restorers’ Association, will also be attendance to capture visitors’ imaginations by demonstrating various decorative and restoration techniques, including leather tooling and general furniture restoration.
In addition, representatives from the Institute of Conservation and the Conservation Register will advise and answer visitors’ queries.
Tickets for the event cost £5.
