A Streatham Hill community project that sends volunteers to help the lives of people in Africa has been visited by the International Development Minister.
Gareth Thomas visited the African Community Development Foundation (ACDF) in Barrhill Road on September 22 to find out more about the work the charity does.
He listened to volunteers who had recently returned from a project promoting secure livelihoods in Kisumu, Kenya, and how the foundation is striving to resolve community conflict and tackle drug use in the Somali community in south London.
