A record run was made at Brooklands Museum on September 13, when an electric TT motorcycle became the first electric racer to ascend the notorious Test Hill.
The Agni Motors TT bike was ridden by Cedric Lynch on the first run, before he handed control over to Andrew English of the Daily Telegraph.
His immediate reaction was “I want one of these.”
The historic runs were made as part of Brooklands Relived and Beyond and, after the noises of racing motorcycles and megaphones died down, the silence was described as “startling”.
