A man was assaulted and racially abused in an incident outside an Epsom bar last Saturday.
At around 1am, a man approached door staff outside comedy bar Native Tongue, High Street, and became verbally and racially abusive.
Another man punched him, causing a cut on his right eye and swelling to his left eye.
Police officers want to speak to people who were captured on CCTV in Epsom, close to where the public order incident took place on September 26.
Police would like to speak to any of the people captured in the images as they may have vital information.
Dave Evans, who is investigating the incident, said: “This appears to be a completely unprovoked incident, which occurred on a busy night in Epsom town centre.
"It is clear from the CCTV there were lots of people around, therefore I am confident someone will be able to come forward with the information I need in order to progress this investigation.
"I would like to stress these people are key witnesses and I know they were not involved in the incident.”
A 35-year-old man from Worcester Park and a 26-year-old man from Croydon have been arrested in connection with the incident, and are on police bail until 13 November pending further inquiries.
If you recognise anyone pictured, or if you have any information which could help police with their inquiries, contact the prisoner investigation unit at Reigate Police Station on 0845 125 2222, quoting reference EP/09/4597.
