Children are invited to enter a bird modelling competition at Lower Morden garden centre.
The competition runs from Monday, October 19 until Sunday, October 25 as part of wild bird care week at the garden centre.
The event aims to raise awareness of the RSPB’s feed the birds day, offering advice on feeding and caring for garden birds.
Manager Matthew Upton said: “We would like children to make models of birds and they can be made out of any material and be any size. We hope as many youngsters as possible enter.”
There are two age categories, four to seven and eight to 11, with one winner and one runner-up each.
The closing date for entries is 4pm on October 25. Winners and runners-up will be notified on Monday, November 1.
Entry forms are available from the garden centre.
