A model choreographer dubbed "the man who teaches the girls to walk" will be among nominees at a glitzy award ceremony that include Beyonce and Leona Lewis.
Mathew Francis, from Kingscourt Road, will be taking a catwalk down the red carpet at the BEFFTA (black entertainment, film, fashion, television and arts) awards being held at the London Hilton Metropole on October 17 after being nominated in the best choreographer category.
Mr Francis trains top models in catwalking and fashion etiquette. He has said he hopes to stage model training events in Streatham if he scoops the award.
