West End stars are coming to Esher this month, in a pair of dance and vocal workshops for families.
Stars from the hit musical Mamma Mia are set to teach at the Performing Arts Centre, Esher High School, on October 27, under the leadership of Tim Stanley.
Mr Stanley is the show’s dance captain, as well as choreographer for the smash hit film, which stars Pierce Brosnan and Meryl Streep.
Classes will see students tackle two of the show’s iconic dance pieces to the music of Dancing Queen and Mamma Mia.
There will also be vocal workshops on Wednesday, October 27, led by two of the finalists from the popular BBC1 show, How do you solve a problem like Maria?
Siobhan Dillon, who was third in the contest, will be on hand before performing as the lead role in Cabaret in Wimbledon.
Joining her will be self-taught Leanne Dobinson who was one of the youngest from the show.
Leanne has recently finished a run as Cosette in Les Miserables, at the Queen's Theatre, London.
A workshop with the theatre stars costs £30, and £50 for the dance and vocal sessions.
The morning session, 10am to 1.30pm, will cater for eight to 13-year-olds, and the afternoon session, from 2pm to 5.30pm is for over 14s, with adults welcome.
