Two men have been arrested after a drugs raid on flats.
Officers from Belmont Safer Neighbourhoods Team lead the raid on two flats in Hulverston Close, Shanklin Estate, after concerns were raised by residents.
At one address, officers found cannabis and drugs-related paraphernalia during the swoop at 8.30am on Wednesday September 30.
The occupier, a man aged 21, was arrested for possession with intent to supply.
At the other address, police seized a stash of herbal cannabis, drugs-related equipment, cash, flat-screen TVs and credit cards.
The occupier, a man aged 35, was arrested for possession with intent to supply and handling stolen goods.
Both men have been bailed to return to Sutton in November on condition of a curfew to remain indoors between hours 10pm to 6am.
Sergeant Brendan McWilliams, of Belmont SNT, said: “Drug-related crime will not be tolerated in our communities and we urge the public to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activities to the police.”
