Get off youir bike: Cyclists on the London Cycle Network are told to dismount
We are often told to cycle more, so when you are on the London Cycle Network you should be able to do just that.
But it seems that is not the case at the bottom of Drewstead Road by Tooting Bec Common where signs first declare you on on the cycle network, but then instruct you to get off your bike.
It seems pedal power may not be all it is cracked up to be.
The Streatham Guardian would like to thank the mystery reader who told us about the conflicting signs after reading our story last week about two other peculiar signs in the borough.
