A cannabis factory growing up to 700 plants was found inside a house in West Hill, Putney, last week.
Police were called to the address on Monday, September 28, after a member of the public made the discovery.
The plants, at various stages of growth, were crammed into five rooms along with a large amount of hydroponic equipment.
Detective Inspector Simon Rowe said: “These cannabis factories are often linked to organised crime.
"They put both police officers and the public at risk as the electricity supply is often unsafe and potentially lethal.”
Police have not yet confirmed if there were any arrests following the raid.
