Police have named a man who died after being stabbed at his home in Walton on Tuesday evening.
Unemployed Kevin Ronald Frances, 49, died of a stab wound to the chest, a post-mortem held yesterday confirmed.
Detectives have taken a knife from the house in Hurtwood Road on the Field Common Estate and are testing it to establish if it was the murder weapon.
Part of the cul-de-sac was sealed off this morning with police tape while officers conducted further searches.
Police were called by a member of the public shortly after 9pm on Tuesday evening to the house, where neighbours said Mr Francis lived with his wife and her son.
A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and taken to Staines police station for questioning.
A 49-year-old woman was also arrested on Wednesday afternoon and taken to Woking police station.
Detective Chief Inspector Chris Raymer said: "The investigation into the murder of a man at Walton yesterday evening is progressing, and I would like to reassure local people that we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this crime at this time."
