Gang rapes rise in Lambeth
Lambeth has been highlighted as a centre for rising numbers of gang rapes.
The borough was one of six highlighted by senior Met officers with the highest number of group sex attacks, with many involving teenage perpetrators who are also involved in youth violence.
New figures revealed there were 93 gang sex attacks in London in 2008/2009, compared to 71 in 2003/2004, with others unreported, detectives believe.
