A Carshalton mum-of-three who paints in her spare time was chosen from thousands to display her work at a London exhibition.
Hana Horack Elyafi could not believe her luck when she received a call to say her abstract painting, The Quest was going to feature at the ING Discerning Eye exhibitions at the Mall Galleries in London.
Around 2,500 people entered a competition and the best work was selected by judges, including interior designer and radio personality Laurence Llewelyn Bowen.
Mrs Horack Elyafi said: “I only paint in my spare time so I was really surprised to be selected.
“I'm so pleased.”
The exhibition will run until Sunday, November 22.
