Lythe Hill Hotel and Spa is only about 35 miles from Surbiton and Kingston and it is a wonderful place to go and relax. One of their current promotions is the Spa Break, which is only £260 per night and includes the following: a full Amarna Spa membership, one spa treatment, a three course meal, luxury accommodation and a Full English Breakfast. I recently visited the hotel to get away from it all and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of service and overall excellence of the place. All the staff were very friendly and when you walked between the Tudor buildings (beams and all), cleaners, waiters and gardeners smiled and asked how you were. The whole experience was one to remember and the gardens that were visible from the ‘Superior Rooms,’ were amazingly kept and beautiful. Amarna Spa was also a great contributor to the quality of my stay. There was a swimming pool, a sauna, a steam room, a cold temple shower, a whirlpool and for the energetic, a fully equipped gym. The treatments on offer included facials, massages and pedicures and all were fairly priced. During my stay, I had a pedicure which was lovely. However, half an hour later my nails were smudged and on return to the spa, they touched up my nails within ten minutes and offered me a pair of flip-flops which I could buy to wear on my way home. This is a clear example of how excellent the staff working there, are. I have been to several resort based spas before, and this is right up there with the likes of Center Parcs. I highly recommend Lythe Hill to everyone and I hope that if you do go, you will have as pleasant a time as I did.
