Detectives hunting a prolific sex attacker have charged a 52-year-old man with a number of rapes and indecent assaults.
The serial attacker dubbed the “Night Stalker” has been linked with dozens of sex attacks and burglaries in South East London, including Croydon and Norwood, over the last 17 years.
The attacker has been linked to 108 crimes dating back to 1992 on people as old as 93 striking up to nine times a week.
Delroy Grant was arrested as part of Operation Minstead, one of the largest operations of the Metropolitan police which included sending officers to the Caribbean and a reward of up to £40,000.
He will appear before Greenwich Magistrates' Court this morning charged with five rapes, six indecent assaults and 11 burglaries which occurred between 1992 and 2009.
