Police are looking for a Mitcham woman thought to have gone missing in Kent.
Janine Peters disappeared on Friday afternoon, and last made contact with Merton police at about 11pm that evening.
A police spokesman said officers were “most concerned” for the 28-year-old’s welfare.
DCI Sean Wanless of Merton Borough CID said: "Police did speak with Janine on her mobile phone later on Friday but she declined to give her whereabouts and later shut her phone off.
"At 10.53pm that night she contacted police and stated she had boarded a train from Waterloo and was in Folkstone, Kent.
"We have liaised with Kent Police and provided officers with her photograph and details, though a search has as yet failed to trace Janine."
Miss Peters - who is also known as Djina Larsson - is white with blonde hair, 5ft 9in tall and of slim build.
The Clay Avenue resident failed to turn up for a meeting with her landlord outside HSBC bank in Tooting at 3.30pm on Friday, and a few minutes later sent her landlord a worrying text message.
Anyone with information should call Merton CID on 0300 123 1212 or Missing People on 0500 700 700.
