Sean Scannell will miss Crystal Palace's game with Coventry City on Saturday after hurting his hamstring while on international duty.
The Republic of Ireland U21 international played the first 42 minutes of his country's European Qualifier with Georgia on Saturday and looked lively before limping off with a hamstring strain.
Manager Neil Warnock confirmed the injury wasn't bad, but was enough to keep him sidelined for the weekend.
"He has hurt his hamstring a little bit and they have sent him back now," he said.
"It's not bad but he won't be training for a few days and will miss the weekend."
Paddy McCarthy was also hoping to return to action on Saturday after his lay-off with a shoulder injury but Warnock said the game would come to soon for him and long-term absentee Calvin Andrew.
"Paddy is training hard and he might have a game next week but won't be available for Saturday," he said.
"Calvin is training well and taking part in full contact training now and we will probably have a game next week for him to play in as well.
"He won't be involved in Saturday though and is still miles away from being back in the first team."
