London Falcons FC have secured a new training base – and want interested local players to help push the club on.
The West Middlesex Sunday League side have agreed a deal with Bedfont FC to use the Orchard’s facility for floodlit Wednesday evening practice.
The club, whose two sides play on the Bedfont first team pitch at weekends, have been looking for a training ground all season.
They came to an agreement last week and now hope the diversity club can attract a good standard of new players in the coming weeks.
Falcons are based near Heathrow – a stone’s throw from Hatton Cross tube station.
Chairman Craig Randall said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have finally secured a place for training.
“Sunday League clubs struggle in this area and Bedfont have been wonderful to us. Now it’s up to use to make full use of the superb facilities on offer.
“We also hope that serious local players will now see us as a side worth getting involved with. So if anyone out there believes they could add something to Falcons then we want to hear from them!”
