Banstead Rotarians struggled with howling wind, torrential rain and a whopping great Christmas tree to bring a little Christmas cheer.
The weather was horrendous on Sunday but, against all the odds, they managed to get the tree safely planted in the Banstead roundabout.
This year Rotarians will make collections outside Waitrose on December 12 and 19 and at Asda on December 11 and 18.
The Epsom Christmas tree was erected earlier in the week by the Parkinsons Disease Society in order to raise funds for the society. People can make donations via scout postal boxes.
