Police are still investigating a fight between two motorists in Clapham Common West Side a month ago.
The fight, which happened at 1pm on Friday, October 30, left one man with minor bruising, according to officers.
Following an investigation by the Metropolitan Police, a 61-year-old man was arrested and interviewed at Wandsworth police station on November 17 on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm.
He has been bailed to return in January 2010, and officers are still appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
The incident followed a minor collision between a bus and a van, which both then drove to the junction of Clapham Common West Side, Battersea Rise and Clapham Common North.
The bus driver, 52, got out of his cab to speak to the van driver to exchange details but there was an argument and the van driver left the scene.
PC Paul Brown, leading the investigation for the Workplace Violence Unit, said: “There may have been a number of witnesses to this incident, given the time of day and the fact it is a busy road junction, and I would urge them to come forward and speak with me.
“I especially want to trace the driver of a dark Saab or Alpha Romeo car, as they were in front of the bus and van at time of the incident.”
