Three muggings and sexual assault in one day, Wandsworth police confirm
Police have confirmed there were three muggings, one involving a sexual assault, in Putney during one day last month.
The incidents took place on Thursday, November 19, in Deodar Road, Burstock Road and Wandsworth Park - where the sexual assault took place.
No arrests have been made and Wandsworth police’s sapphire unit are still working to identify offenders.
Residents are warned to plan their routes through the park carefully as many sections are not well-lit.
