Kyia Johnston, 11, could be set to become the new Darcey Bussell.
Kyia was one of seven picked from 700 children from her age group who auditioned for a place at the London Children’s Ballet.
Kyia, from Chadacre Road, Stoneleigh, will start rehearsals in the New Year for the performances of Ballet Shoes, due to be performed in London in April.
The young ballerina, who goes to Blenheim High School, in Epsom, trains five nights a week at the Laine Theatre Arts, in Epsom, and with the Royal Ballet School at the weekends.
