Masked robbers escaped with thousands of pounds after attacking a security van driver from behind at Thornton Heath station.
The two attackers, who were wearing red and white bandanas over their faces, snatched the cash box from the guard as he entered the station at midday on November 27.
Witnesses said they saw the pair driving away at speed towards Brigstock Road in a silver Vauxhall Zafira.
A British Transport Police (BTP)spokesman said officers had searched the area for the men, who were wearing dark clothes and hoods, but had made no arrests.
He said the incident had left the guard “shocked” but uninjured.
