Newly-opened Kew House care home is contributing £1,200 over three years to Merton’s Christmas lights sponsorship scheme.
The home has also bought a Christmas tree from Holy Trinity Church in Wimbledon, with all proceeds going to the church.
Home manager Peter Donkin said: “‘We are delighted to take part in the Merton Christmas lights sponsorship scheme and contribute to local charities. I am a strong believer in community spirit, and as a new member of the Wimbledon community I am keen that Kew House gets involved in as many local projects as possible.”
